  • transform! europe held its General Assembly on 18 and 19 September 2014 in Prague.

    A workshop has been held on the situation of the Left in the CEE countries, the morning before the start of the General Assembly. Several guests from the Czech host Society for European Dialogue (SPED), and the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia have been present, also during the assembly. Also representatives of the Feminists for Another Europe (FAE) took part. From Left Forum Ireland Helena Sheenan took part. From the European Left Party Natassa Theodorakopoulou has been participating.

    The General Assembly welcomed the new full members Fundación por la Europa de los Ciudadanos and Fundació l'Alternativa unanimously.

    The member and observer organizations and the staff members from across Europe have been discussing the activities led previously this year, as well as the projects to be set up in 2015. The main idea is to develop real European-wide working teams on the projects. Soon our core projects for 2015 (Productive Reconstruction, Crisis, History, Science and Democracy, New World Order and the Challenges of the Left, Left Strategy, Far and Populist Right, Feminism, Central and Eastern Europe) will be presented in detail.

    The new transform! managing board has been elected, Haris Golemis, NPI as the legal representative.
