  • The European Grandma Project is a cultural cooperation project in Europe, that aims to explore Europe’s history through its female narratives.

    The project will consist of a collection of nine film contributions made by female filmmakers from different European countries and Israel about their grandmothers. Also exhibitions and participatory events will be held in the filmmakers’ countries of origin.

    We are looking for:

    • cultural associations and institutions who will cooperate,
    • female filmmakers / video artists / visual media artists with grandmothers (born between 1920 and 1935), who want to tell their stories.
