The European Union has reached an historical turning point. European political leaders and the economic and financial elites have taken advantage of the crisis to impose their own unjust, neoliberal and antidemocratic order.
Over a hundred delegates packed into the Coalition of Resistance’s conference at the Unite the Union headquarters in London on Sunday afternoon, to strengthen anti-austerity coordination across Europe.
The conference entitled “The ‘Critical’ in Critical Political Economy” was organized by the Critical Political Economy Research Network (CPERN) of the European Sociological Association and took place in Barcelona at the University Pompeu Fabra on 21 and 22 September 2012. transform! europe was invited to the conference.
The Forum “Firenze10+10 – Joining forces for another Europe” will be held from 8 to 11 November at Fortezza da Basso in Florence, with the participation of thousands of people from all over Europe.
