Lucía Barcena Menendez is a Spanish-Mexican researcher who has specialized in trade and investment policies and in monitoring and evaluation of development projects. She has coordinated the campaign on trade and investment policies for Ecologistas en Acción in Spain. She now works on issues of trade and investment for the Transnational Institute’s Economic Justice team.
Prior to this, Lucía worked as an international consultant monitoring and evaluating projects of UN agencies including UNFPA, UNICEF and the ECLAC, as well as for infoDev’s Creating Sustainable Businesses in the Knowledge Economy Program (CSBKE) of the World Bank Group.
