Daria Popova

I am a researcher and activist from Ukraine. My educational background is in sociology (BA degree obtained in Kyiv-Mohyla Academy) and gender studies (MS degree obtained in Lund University). My research interests consider neoliberalism, nationalism, gender and technology, the vulnerable groups, gender-based violence and variety of other issues connected to social justice and gender. I have been a participant of grassroots feminist and left-wing collectives both in Ukraine and Sweden. My experience includes project-management in cooperation with Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung and participation in the editorial board of “Commons”, the radical left journal of social criticism based in Ukraine.
