  • The Symposium Middle East at Historical Crossroads (MEHC) inviting politicians, activists and artists from Israel, Palestine and Europe in an effort to dialogue and explore major topics, which are relevant for peace, justice and the self-determination of the Palestinian people in the region – through the lens of arts and everyday politics.
    „Der Nahe Osten an der Wegkreuzung“
  • Nur kurz nach der Verabschiedung der UN-Resolution vom 23. Dezember 2016, die die Fortsetzung der israelischen Siedlungspolitik verurteilt, veranstaltete transform! europe das Symposium „Der Nahe Osten an der Wegkreuzung“. Es stellte den Auftakt einer neuen neuen Projektserie für 2017 dar, in der es um linke globale Strategien geht. Dem Friedensprozess im von Krieg erschütterten Nahen Osten kommt dabei eine wichtige Rolle zu.
    Noch besteht Hoffnung für den Nahen Osten
  • Eine gerechte und nachhaltige Lösung für den Nahen Osten würde einen großen Beitrag zur Sicherung des Friedens und der Sicherheit in Europa leisten. Ohne eine solche Lösung sind Sozialstaat und Demokratie in Gefahr. Die Europäische Linke muss ihre Verantwortung auch in ihrem eigenen Interesse wahrnehmen.
